  •  ¾ cup grated mozzarella

Start by leaving the potatoes in a bowl of ice water for 30 minutes, changing the water every 10 minutes. This process helps eliminate the potato's starch, so it becomes crispier in the oven.

Dry the potatoes well and place them in the bowl with the seasoning. Stir well until all the slices are covered - the potatoes should not be soggy, just lightly greased.

Tip: Stir carefully so as not to break the potatoes.

Grease a dish with butter and arrange the potatoes on it, pouring the rest of the seasoning that remained in the bowl on top. Make it pretty, like in the photo, after all, it's a party day! Cover with aluminum foil and place in a preheated oven at 230°C for 1 hour.
